LEASING

 

Triton has many quality horses available for full or half lease. Leasing gives a rider the opportunity to see what owning a horse would be like without the initial investment of purchasing a horse. Leasing is also a good way to find an appropriate match between horse and rider. Triton’s Full and Half Lease Agreements run from December 1 to November 30 of each year.

  • Full Lease is $1,150 per month and includes the following:

    Unlimited hack rides each week at the customer’s convenience.

    Four professional rides per month as deemed necessary by the trainer.

    4 lessons a month, lessons may not be deducted from the price of the board fee and must be taken within the month the board fee is paid for. Lessons are non-transferable.

    Exclusive riding rights to the horse you are leasing as if you owned the horse. The horse will not be utilized in the lesson program.

    Lessee will be responsible for the vet and farrier costs described in the lease agreement.

    Basic Half-Lease $350.00
    Includes 1 lesson and 1 hack ride per week (4 lessons and 4 hacks per month).
    Riders may only choose Sunday or Monday for their hack days. Riders may choose Tuesday-Saturday for their lesson day. Predetermined lesson and hack days must be set at the beginning of the month.
    Horses will still be utilized in the lesson program.

    Flex Half-Lease: $400.00
    Includes 1 lesson and 1 hack ride per week (4 lessons and 4 hacks per month).
    Riders have the flexibility to choose any 2 days of the week to lesson or hack. Predetermined lesson and hack days must be set at the beginning of the month.
    Horses will still be utilized in the lesson program.


    Flex 2 Lesson Half Lease: $450.00
    Includes 2 lessons per week (8 lessons per month).
    Riders may choose any 2 days of the week to lesson. Predetermined lesson days must be set at the beginning of the month.
    Horses will still be utilized in the lesson program.

    Flex 2 Lesson, 1 Hack Half Lease: $500.00
    Includes 2 lessons and 1 hack ride per week (8 lessons and 4 hacks per month).
    Riders may choose any day of the week to hack/lesson. Predetermined lesson days must be set at the beginning of the month, but lesson days may be changed when proper notification/communication is made in advance. Predetermined hack days must be set at the beginning of the month and are not flexible.
    Horses will still be utilized in the lesson program.

    Under all Half Lease Agreements, the lessee will be required to pay half the vet and farrier costs as stated in the Half-Lease Agreement.
